TV Proxy - Watch UK TV Abroad

TV Proxy is private members service that allows British residents to watch UK TV online including BBC iPlayer whilst away from home, e.g. at holiday homes abroad.

BBC TV abroadHow does it work?
The BBC and most other British broadcasters have made their TV channels available online but if you have tried to watch them from abroad you will have got a message such as 'Not available in your area'.

To bypass these restrictions, TV Proxy has set up a dedicated server to fetch the TV content on your behalf. This type of service is known as a 'selective web proxy'.

What can I watch?
Our proxy server is currently set to allow users to watch all the TV in our channels list but note that not all TV output is available on-line, in particular some sporting events such as football matches and films are not made available by the BBC or ITV. Some live football is only available on Sky and requires a subscription to their service.

Is it reliable?
Watch UK TV Abroad Our server/connection has a 99.99% uptime and during exhaustive use by our members over the last eleven months, all the content has been very reliable. In the unlikely event of our proxy becoming unavailable, members will be credited for downtime.

How fast is it?
Because our server is not bogged down proxying content that doesn't need proxying, such as system updates or YouTube videos, it is astonishingly fast, all our members report 'it's just like viewing in the UK'.

What do I need?
No additional equipment is needed and you don't need to install any software. You just need a high speed Broadband/ADSL/DSL/Cable internet connection. Only one setting needs changing on your PC and easy instuctions as well as one to one support are provided to our members.
